Jet Air was started in Clintonville, WI in an old Republic Airlines Hangar (now Northwest Airlines) by three individuals in 1969.  In 1970 Jet Air became the first Mitsubishi service center for the then new MU-2 aircraft, a pressurized speedy turboprop intended for business transportation.  In 1980 Jet Air moved to its current location at Green Bay's Austin Straubel International Airport.  Some of the original employees still are active and bring years of experience to the maintenance of a wide variety of aircraft.(Bob H. 1969, Gary Z. 1972, Joe M 1978 and Vikki R,1978)  Still an MU-2 service center but with experience in a wide variety of piston and turbine aircraft   Jet Air services customers from all parts of North America. Recently JET AIR became a service center for CIRRUS aircraft and augmented its activities in avionics. 

Jet Air purchased an FBO in 1983 which became JET AIR FUEL and was combined with the maintenance facility.  The FBO was sold to a group of investors in 1997 and named TITLETOWN JET CENTRE but recently was reestablished in the JET AIR GROUP by the current owners of the company to provide a full range of services to the general aviation community. Currently operated under the name of JET AIR SERVICES, the FBO has relocated to the approach end of runway 24 adjacent to the existing JET AIR maintenance hangar.  This will consolidate the company into a new, more efficient facility for its customers.  JET AIR SERVICES is a branded Air BP facility.  The staff has experience not found at many FBOs which adds to the level of safety.
